    5 Torches
My partner and I live full time at Roy’s Hideaway since mid-summer of 2010 and we must say that as each day passes that we are here – we love the place even more. We have stayed for a long period of time at other campgrounds, but Roy’s really has taken camping to a whole new level for us. There are many great things to say about this campground and the people that are here, but I will comment on a few of the most important:

    1) Safety – Roy is one of the most safety conscious people that we have met – he is always looking out for the safety of his guests to make sure that they have a great time.
    2) Friendliness – The owner, Roy, and his partner, Eduardo, are two of the nicest guys that you will ever meet. They will bend over backwards for you to ensure that you have a great time. They commonly go around and hang out with visitors and ensures that they are having a great time. They truly treat everyone like family. Not to mention all of the permanent rv’ers that are here – they always introduce themselves and treat everyone great.
    3) Cleanliness – this is one of the cleanest campgrounds that we have visited. The bathrooms are always really clean and well stocked. The pool and hot tub are cleaned regularly and are always in great shape. The cabins are beautiful and always well maintained.
    4) Value – this campground is an awesome value – there are always specials for campers that are coming in to visit. Also, if you happen to visit on a Monday or Wednesday you will be provided with a FREE meal – Free spaghetti on Mondays and Free Tacos on Wednesday. Their free meals are always home-cooked and are a great addition to the price you pay to visit the campground.
    5) Activities – Roy’s always has something planned. Even if you drop by on a weekday – you will still find people around and activities going on. Weekends are abundant with activities and fun things that you can do. We have never had a dull moment living here at Roy’s.

So, come check out Roy’s for yourself, we have truly enjoyed our stay here and we are trying to help get out the word about Roy’s Hideaway as a great place to visit. We look forward to seeing you!
